St.
Patrick's Day is celebrated in states across the Nation, but
I have never before seen a celebration like the one that goes
on in Boston. Around here St. Patrick's Day means at
least two solid days for beer and excitement.
One of the grandest traditions in Boston is
the St. Patrick's Day Parade through South Boston. The
streets are lines with hundreds of thousands of people all
celebrating together. 2000 marked the first year lycos
was involved in this celebration.
Although we didn't have a real float. Die hard
volunteers decorated my truck to be used as a promotional
float.
